Ashford's Community Teams
Ashford Rugby Club
The Club, situated in the heart of Kent, was formed in 1885 becoming affiliated to the Kent RFU, though the earliest reference to the club seems to be in 1881 when the Norton Knatchbull School Sports records mentions the school playing the town team in January of that year.
They run 4 senior mens teams, with the occasional vets team and have recently formed an U19’s team that is going from strength to strength. The Ladies have 1 senior team and are actively trying to form an U19s team. With regards to Youth rugby they run at every age group bar under 15s this season and at Mini level they have teams in every age group and in certain age group they’re able to put out two sides.
New members, playing and non playing are always welcome.
